Shade Specifier is an important project of the BBSA to prove the energy saving benefits of solar shading. It is understood by many that blinds and shutters reduce solar gain in the summer and heat loss in the winter in addition to controlling glare and providing privacy. However, how do you know what is the best option for you and how do you know how the material will perform? The BBSA has created a database that will allow you to do just that.
Shade Specifier Database
Calculated to European Standards, the same used by the glazing industry this database will allow you to chose the glazing, the material in the blind or shutter and whether the blind/shutter is fitted internally or externally and in the case of blind, mid-pane.
