Timber Vertical Blinds

Timber or woodslat vertical blinds provide a different look and feel to traditional fabric blinds.

Wooden vertical blinds, use wooden slats or louvres instead of traditional fabric louvres. The slats are typically 89mm wide and are fitted to the same headrail system as used on a traditional vertical blind. The slats do not have a stabilising chain fitted to the base.

This is an uncommon blind style and as such there is a limited range of wood colours available.

Woodslat vertical blinds are typically operated by a cord to draw the slats and a chain to tilt them but wand operation, gearbox (using a crank handle) and electric operation via  low voltage DC motors are also available.

Woodslat vertical blinds are not suitable for high moisture environments and being a natural product there may be some movement noticeable in the slats.

See information on window blind safety here.

Timber vertical blinds are also known as Woodslat blinds, Wood slat blinds, Wooden vertical blinds, timber louvre blinds.
