BUILDING RESEARCH ESTABLISHMENT (BRE)
BRE is the UK's leading centre for research and consultancy on a wide range of construction related issues. BRE coordinated the SHADE 'Promoting solar shading and intelligent facades' project, and produced the design guide 'Solar shading of buildings'.
DOOR & HARDWARE FEDERATION
The Door & Hardware Federation (DHF) was created by a merger between the Association of Building Hardware Manufacturers and the Door & Shutter Manufacturers Association. DHF represents the interests of manufacturers and installers of industrial, pedestrian and garage doors as well as manufacturers of locks and building hardware.

The Industrial Fabrics Association (IFAI) is a non-profit trade association with more than 2,000 member companies that represent the international technical fabrics marketplace. Member companies range in size from one-person businesses to multi-national corporations.
PERFORMANCE TEXTILES ASSOCIATION

Formerly known as MUTA, the Performance Textiles Association is the UK’s only trade body representing the industrial textiles industry representing members involved in activities as varied as tarpaulin manufacture, marquee production and hire, industrial texitles, fabric coating and proofing, lorry load restraints and side curtains, nets, scaffold sheets and reusable healthcare fabric products.
It helps set quality standards, frame codes of good practice and lobbies the Government on a range of industry-related safety and environmental issues.
ASSOCIATION OF MASTER UPHOLSTERERS & SOFT FURNISHERS (AMUSF)
The Association of Master Upholsterers & Soft Furnishers was founded in 1947, making it one of the oldest associations in the furniture industry.
Its membership totalling in excess of 600, comprises craft upholsterers, upholstered furniture manufacturers, chair frame manufacturers, soft furnishing retailers and contractors and others associated with the craft of upholstery.

The Window Covering Safety Council (WCSC) is a coalition of major U.S. manufacturers, importers and retailers of window coverings dedicated to educating consumers about window cord safety.

The Association of Interior Specialists is a trade association that represents companies involved in the manufacture, supply and installation of all aspects of interior fit-outs and refurbishments. UNITED KINGDOM ACCREDITATION SERVICE
The United Kingdom Accreditation Service is the sole national accreditation body recognised by government to assess, against internationally agreed standards, organisations that provide certification, testing, inspection and calibration services.
